23 October 2009, I finally got my house keys.
Hubby and I were very excited!
As it was a resale unit, a lot of repairs had to be done.
Alhamdullilah, we managed to pull it through.
As I was staying with my parents then, we weren’t rushing to move.
It took us 2 months to finish painting and repairing the house.
We finally moved in on 01 January 2010.
Some of the repairs we did were:
Change of kitchen cabinet.
Change the lightings for the whole house.
Change the toilet bowl and sink in the toilets.
Change all the doors including store room and toilet doors, except the front door.
Hack down the cornices in the living room and replace it with an L-Box and spotlights.
And walah! We’ve got our very own humble abode.
The whole process is of course tiring, but we enjoyed every bits of it.
Thanks to my family and bro-in-law, Eddy, for all the help and contributions.
To my in-laws, thank you for the pots and pans. Very useful. = )
Also, thanks to our relatives and friends for the gifts during our house warming.
We are still in the process of beautifying our house.
